A series of animated videos for Our Watch for their contribution to the 16 Days activism movement.

‘It Starts With Men’ asks men to take action as bystanders when they witness sexist comments or action. It can often be hard to react effectively in the moment: “was it that bad?”, “did he really mean it that way?”, “that’s not like him…”.

This campaign asks men to make a promise to themselves: that next time they see or hear something that does’t feel right, they’ll be ready to make a difference:

“Set yourself a challenge.
Next time you hear a sexist comment
Speak up.”
