Oh, and if you’re wondering about the name: it was halfway into a gruelling bikepacking trip that Dan leaned into his handlebars and warned:
“There’s some pretty tough terrain ahead.
We’re gunna need a second breakfast.”
And we knew that was it. If you want to make meaningful change then you need to fuel up. And we’ve built up quite an appetite.

Izzy has produced commercials and content for some of the biggest brands in Australia and was once the Content Lead for Australia’s largest humanitarian organisation - filming, directing, editing and producing campaigns and video content. And she’s a bloody talented photographer too. Jeez, some people.
When she’s not got her camera in hand you can find her facilitating women’s groups, fostering dogs and planning her next outdoor adventure. And her infectious laugh means you’ll never have trouble finding her on set.

Dan has been in the engine room of video production and marketing agencies for over a decade — delivering content, campaigns and strategies for global change-makers, challenger brands and some of Australia’s biggest businesses.
The second founding half of Second Breakfast, Dan’s a seasoned visual storyteller, marketer and published creative writer — so you can count on him to find the angle to elevate your project and take the creative to the next level. Pastry connoisseur, history podcast nerd and heavy music lover.

Alex Indigo - Intelligence Lead

Alex has been a core part of the team since early 2023 — and it seems as though she’s mastering new tasks each week. She never takes a day off, doesn’t require food and is awake 24/7. But I guess that’s the beauty of Artificial Intelligence.
Alex is our AI Assistant — lover of menial tasks and a time-saving specialist for Second Breakfast. Which means we get to spend more time on the human stuff: storytelling, strategy and creative development. Part Executive Assistant, part creative, part Account Manager… and probably future boss. So be nice!

You get in touch with your initial ideas or a fleshed out brief. We digest and come back with a ballpark quote to get things off the ground - and avoid any hidden surprises

Our team sits down with yours to dig deeper into the detail. You tell us about what’s happening in your world and why that’s important.
We come away with a deep understanding of your challenges, goals and expectations. The quote is finessed and finalised.

Using all we’ve learned, scripts are written, interview questions are shaped and the creative storyboard is developed.
Every ‘where’, ‘when’, ‘why’ and ‘how’ is answered ahead of the shoot day so things can run like clockwork.
Permits are applied for, gear is packed and the crew is ready to hit the ground running.

The big day is here. Lights are set up, interviews are filmed, photos are snapped, snacks are shared.
